At Toothi we understand that sometimes unexpected events can occur, and appointments need to be rescheduled or cancelled. We want to ensure that all our patients receive timely and high-quality dental care, which is why we have a cancellation policy in place.
Cancellation Policy Details
Patients must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule their appointment. This allows us to schedule other patients who may need care and helps us avoid unnecessary delays.
If a patient fails to provide the required notice or does not show up for their appointment, a cancellation fee of £50.00 per 30-minutes of chair time, may be charged. Appointments that are free to book, such as reviews, are included in this category. This fee is to compensate for the time and resources that were allocated for the appointment and will need to be paid before scheduling another appointment.
Emergency situations that prevent a patient from attending their appointment will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Patients who repeatedly miss appointments or fail to provide notice of cancellation may be denied future appointments.
Cancellation Policy Communication
Our cancellation policy will be communicated to patients, and reminders will be sent via email, text message or phone call prior to their scheduled appointment. Patients who wish to reschedule or cancel an appointment should contact us as soon as possible by phone, email, or text message.
