Invisalign prices in London vary enormously — anywhere from around £1,500 to £5,500 or more. So it’s natural to wonder: if one clinic is far cheaper than another, is something being cut? A low price isn’t automatically a red flag, but it’s worth knowing what to check so you’re comparing like for like.
Why prices differ so much
The aligners themselves come from the same manufacturer, but the total fee reflects a lot more than the plastic: the experience of the dentist planning your case, how many aligners and refinements are included, whether scans, whitening and retainers are part of the price, and the level of aftercare. Two “Invisalign” quotes can describe very different packages.
The questions that reveal the real price
Before you compare quotes, ask each clinic:
- Is the 3D scan and consultation included, or charged separately?
- Does the price cover refinements — the extra aligners often needed to fine-tune your result?
- Are retainers included at the end, or an added cost afterwards?
- Is whitening included?
- Who actually plans and supervises the treatment — and are they a registered dentist?
A price that looks cheap can climb quickly once refinements and retainers are added on. A slightly higher all-inclusive price is often better value — and easier to budget for.
The one thing you should never compromise on
Whatever you pay, your Invisalign should be planned and supervised by a qualified, GDC-registered dentist who assesses your teeth and gums in person first. Be cautious of any “remote” or postal aligner service that skips a proper in-person examination — moving teeth without checking the health of the teeth and gums underneath can cause real problems. Cheap only counts if it’s also safe.
Good value done properly
At Toothi in Edgware, Invisalign starts from £1,495, and every plan includes your free iTero 3D scan (worth £250), all review appointments and teeth whitening — the fee we agree in writing is the fee you pay. Your case is planned and supervised in person by Dr Ali El-Kabengi, not managed by post. It’s genuinely affordable and properly supervised, which is the combination that matters.
