Are retainers included?

Yes. Removable and fixed retainers are included with every package. If you ever need a replacement, a removable retainer is £150 for one arch or £250 for both, and a fixed wire retainer is £250.

Are refinements included?

Yes. Refinement aligners, if you need them, are included with every package.

Is teeth whitening included?

Yes. Boutique teeth whitening is included with every package, along with an Airflow hygiene clean.

Are there any extra costs?

No. There aren’t any add-ons to an Invisalign package at Toothi. Your fee is confirmed in a written treatment plan before anything begins. Other dental treatment, if you need any before starting, is quoted separately.

Invisalign in London costs anywhere from £995 to over £6,000, often for the same aligner system made in the same Align Technology lab. What changes is the clinic’s overheads, the tier your case needs and what’s bundled in. The table shows what each level of treatment typically costs across London, so you can see where a quote you’ve been given sits. We’re a dental clinic in Edgware, and our own three fixed prices are alongside for comparison.

Typical London ranges are indicative bands for each level of treatment, not quotes from any particular clinic, and individual practices vary widely. Your own price depends on how much movement your case needs. The NHS doesn’t cover Invisalign; it’s private treatment everywhere. Last reviewed 19 August 2026.

There are four main reasons.

1. Complexity tier. Prices at the bottom of the market (£995–£1,499) are for minor movement only: a handful of aligners correcting mild crowding or relapse. Moderate crowding is a mid-tier case (£1,995–£2,495). Complex bite correction needs full comprehensive treatment, typically £3,500–£6,000+ in London, which we refer on to an orthodontist.
2. Location. Clinic running costs vary by area, and that feeds into fees. The aligners come from the same Align Technology lab wherever you’re treated.
3. What’s bundled. Always ask: is the scan free? Are refinement aligners included if teeth need extra movement? Is whitening included? Are retainers included? A low headline price with £500 of extras isn’t the full cost.
4. Who plans your case. Some low-cost models are remote-only with minimal dentist contact. At a clinic, a named dentist plans and supervises your case. At Toothi that’s our principal dentist, Dr Ali El-Kabengi (GDC 270807), at every visit.

Invisalign is the same medical device wherever you get it. The diagnosis, planning and supervision are what vary. A lower fee is safe when a GDC-registered dentist examines you in person, takes X-rays where needed, plans your ClinCheck, and sees you through refinements and retention. Be cautious with any provider that skips the in-person examination, quotes you without seeing your teeth, or has no plan for refinements if the first set of aligners doesn’t finish the job. The risk comes from skipped clinical steps, not from the price.

Toothi holds a 4.9-star rating on Google and opens seven days a week, including Sundays.

The whole-cost checklist: questions to ask any clinic. Before you compare quotes, get each clinic to confirm in writing: the consultation and scan cost, which tier your case actually needs, whether refinements are included, whitening included or extra, retainer cost, review appointment costs, and the total with finance. Two “£1,995” quotes can differ by £700 once extras land.
