Invisalign Go and Go Plus explained
Toothi London, Edgware · Last reviewed 17 October 2026
Invisalign Go is Align Technology’s system for mild to moderate adult cases, designed around the teeth you show when you smile: the front teeth and premolars. It uses the same SmartTrack aligners, the same ClinCheck planning and the same lab as full Invisalign, with a case range that covers the great majority of adults who want straighter front teeth. Go Plus is the same system with more aligners, for cases that need more movement.
Toothi is an Invisalign Go Plus provider. At Toothi, Invisalign Go is a fixed £2,495 and typically takes around 6 months; Invisalign Go Plus is £2,995 and typically around 9 months. Both include your iTero scan, all reviews, refinement aligners if needed, removable and fixed retainers, an Airflow hygiene clean and Boutique teeth whitening.
Go vs Go Plus
The difference in one table
| Invisalign Go | Invisalign Go Plus | |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | Mild to moderate crowding, spacing or relapse, mainly the front teeth | Moderate cases needing more movement, more rotation or more bite levelling |
| Teeth moved | Front teeth and premolars | Front teeth and premolars |
| Typical duration | typically around 6 months | typically around 9 months |
| Price at Toothi | £2,495 | £2,995 |
| Included | iTero scan and ClinCheck · all reviews · refinement aligners if needed · removable and fixed retainers · Airflow hygiene clean · Boutique whitening | |
The difference is the number of aligners in the series, and therefore how far the teeth can travel. Your dentist chooses between them from the scan and the plan, not from the price list; a Go Plus case run on Go would simply end unfinished.
What It Treats
Cases that suit Go and Go Plus
- ✓ Crowding — overlapping front teeth, often with a small amount of IPR to make space.
- ✓ Gaps — spacing between the front teeth, closed by moving the teeth together.
- ✓ Relapse — teeth that have moved since earlier braces.
- ✓ Rotated or tilted teeth — with attachments to give the aligner grip.
- ✓ Mild to moderate overbite — using intrusion and precision bite ramps.
- ✓ Alignment before bonding or veneers — so the cosmetic work needs less build-up.
What Go and Go Plus do not do is move the molars, correct a skeletal bite or replace jaw surgery. If your scan shows your case needs full Invisalign or fixed braces, we tell you at the free consultation and refer you on to a colleague we trust. We would rather say so than start a case the system is not designed for.
Go vs Full Invisalign
Is Go a lesser Invisalign?
No. The aligners are made of the same material in the same lab, planned on the same software, and move teeth the same way. Full Invisalign (Lite, Moderate and Comprehensive) is scoped for bigger movements, molar correction and more complex bites, usually with a specialist orthodontist, and is priced accordingly. Go is scoped for the front-teeth cases that make up most adult requests, which is why it is quicker, and why Toothi can publish a fixed price for it. If your case is a Go case, you are not missing out by not having Comprehensive; if it is a Comprehensive case, Go is the wrong tool and we will say so.

Common Questions
Invisalign Go questions
How much does Invisalign Go cost?
At Toothi London, Invisalign Go is a fixed £2,495 and Invisalign Go Plus is £2,995, both with retainers, whitening, reviews and refinements included.
What is the difference between Invisalign Go and Go Plus?
Go Plus includes more aligners, so it can move the teeth further. It is chosen for moderate cases with more rotation, more crowding or more bite levelling. The teeth treated and the inclusions are the same.
How long does Invisalign Go take?
Typically around 6 months for Go and around 9 months for Go Plus across our cases. Your own timeline is confirmed on your plan before you start.
Does Invisalign Go move the back teeth?
No. Go and Go Plus are designed for the front teeth and premolars. Cases needing molar movement are referred on for full Invisalign or fixed braces.
Is Invisalign Go as good as full Invisalign?
For the cases it is designed for, yes: same aligners, same planning, same lab. It is scoped for front-teeth cases rather than complex bites, which is why it is quicker and can be offered at a fixed price.
Can Invisalign Go fix an overbite?
Mild to moderate overbites, yes, using intrusion and precision bite ramps. Deep or skeletal bites are referred on. See Invisalign for overbites.
