Invisalign Express: the short course
Toothi London, Edgware · Last reviewed 17 October 2026
Invisalign Express is the name for the shortest Invisalign course: a small number of aligners for minor front-teeth problems. It suits people whose teeth were straight once and have drifted since their braces came off, or who have one or two crooked front teeth, a small gap, or slight crowding that bothers them in photos. Full, moderate and lite courses exist for bigger jobs. Express is for the small ones.
At Toothi, the express-length package is Invisalign Go Express: a fixed £1,495, typically around 3 months, with your iTero scan, all reviews, removable and fixed retainers, an Airflow hygiene clean and Boutique teeth whitening all included.
Suitability
Who Invisalign Express is for
- ✓ Relapse after braces. You wore braces as a teenager, stopped wearing the retainer, and the front teeth have shifted. The most common express case we see.
- ✓ Minor crowding. One or two overlapping front teeth, often a lower incisor that has tucked behind its neighbours.
- ✓ Small gaps. A slight space between the front teeth, or several small spaces across the smile line.
- ✓ A single rotated or tilted tooth, where the rest of the smile is already in line.
- ✓ Pre-bonding alignment. Straightening the edges a little before composite bonding so the bonding needs less build-up.
Express isn’t for bite problems, anything more than mild crowding, or the back teeth. If that’s you, Invisalign Go or Go Plus is the right fit, and we’ll say so at the consultation rather than squeeze a bigger job into a shorter course. The free iTero scan shows which package you need in minutes.

Express vs Go
Why not just always choose express?
An express course has a fixed, small number of aligners, and the teeth will only move as far as those aligners take them. Start an express case that really needed a Go course and you end the series with teeth that are better but not finished. So we choose the package from the scan and the plan, not from the price list. Go and Go Plus are for cases that need more aligners and more time. The extra cost pays for the extra movement; it’s the same kind of treatment. Compare all three on our Invisalign packages page, or read about Invisalign Go and Go Plus.

Common Questions
Invisalign Express questions
How much does Invisalign Express cost in the UK?
At Toothi London, Invisalign Go Express, our express-length package, is a fixed £1,495 with retainers and whitening included. Published UK prices for short Invisalign courses vary widely by clinic, so compare what’s included as well as the headline figure.
How long does Invisalign Express take?
Typically around 3 months across our cases. Your own timeline is confirmed on your plan before you start and depends on wearing the aligners 22 hours a day.
Is Invisalign Express the same as Invisalign Go Express?
Express is the general term for the shortest aligner course. Go Express is the short-course product within the Invisalign Go system, which is what we use at Toothi. Both mean a small number of aligners for minor front-teeth correction.
Can express fix an overbite?
No. Bite correction needs more movement and more aligners than an express course provides. See Invisalign for overbites.
What if my teeth aren’t finished at the end of the express course?
Refinement aligners are included in every package, and the scan at the start is there to stop us choosing a course that’s too short. If the plan shows express won’t finish the job, we recommend Go instead before you start.
Do I still need retainers after a short course?
Yes. Teeth relapse after any orthodontic movement, which is the reason most express patients come to us in the first place. Fixed and removable retainers are included.
