Harrow is not short of dentists offering clear aligners, and the quotes vary wildly — we’ve seen Harrow patients quoted more than double for the same case. So this page is mostly about money, and about how to tell whether a quote is fair.
What should be included — and often isn’t
This is where quotes diverge, and where the cheap one often stops being cheap. Ask any provider whether their price includes:
- ✓ Retainers. Both kinds. If you finish treatment and then have to pay separately for retainers, the quote wasn’t complete — and without retention your teeth will drift back.
- ✓ Refinements. Extra aligners at the end if a tooth hasn’t tracked exactly to plan. This is normal, not a failure, and it should be built in.
- ✓ The scan and consultation. Ours are free — the iTero scan alone is worth £250.
- ✓ Whitening and a hygiene clean. Included in our current summer package, worth over £750 all in.
A £1,800 quote that excludes retainers and refinements is not cheaper than a £2,200 quote that includes them.
Free second opinions for Harrow patients
If you’re holding a quote from another practice and you’re unsure, bring it. The consultation and the iTero scan cost you nothing and there’s no obligation whatsoever. We’ll look at whether the treatment plan makes clinical sense, whether the number of aligners proposed is realistic, and whether Invisalign is even the right tool — sometimes bonding alone achieves what someone has quoted a full orthodontic case for, and sometimes the honest answer is fixed braces.
Occasionally we tell Harrow patients their existing quote is good and they should go ahead with it. That happens, and we say so.

We fit your first set and place any small tooth-coloured attachments. You wear each aligner 20–22 hours a day, with short reviews every 6–8 weeks.
Refine & Retain
Any final refinements are made, attachments come off, and we fit your retainers to keep your new smile exactly where it belongs.

That’s not a teaser rate for a case nobody has — it’s the genuine starting point for simpler cases, and more complex ones cost more. You’ll be given the exact number in writing, at the free consultation, before you commit to anything.

Getting here from Harrow
The 340 bus runs from Harrow directly to Edgware Station, two minutes’ walk from us. By car it’s fifteen to twenty minutes via Honeypot Lane. Reviews are every six to eight weeks and we’re open Saturdays and Sundays, so the journey never costs you a working day.
