Toothi porcelain packages of six or more include the iTero 3D scan and digital smile design, a wax-up try-in so you approve the shape before anything is made, temporaries, the fit appointment, a review and a nightguard.
What “a full set” actually means
It almost never means every tooth. Most people show six to ten upper teeth when they smile naturally, and far fewer lower teeth. “A full set” in UK cosmetic dentistry usually means:
- Six veneers: the two central incisors, two lateral incisors and two canines. The classic smile line for someone with a narrower smile.
- Eight veneers: the six above plus the first premolars. The most common “full set” and the right number for most wide smiles.
- Ten veneers: extending to the second premolars, for very wide smiles or where the back teeth are visible and discoloured.
- Twenty veneers: upper and lower. Rare, and usually driven by a desire to change the colour of the lower teeth, which whitening can usually do without cutting enamel.
How many you need is decided by how many teeth show, not by a package. At your consultation we photograph your full smile and count. If the answer is six, we will not sell you eight.

The pattern we recommend most often for a first full set is composite: it costs less than a third as much, can be adjusted in the chair, and if you love the shape you can have it remade in porcelain years later in the same design because no enamel was cut. What should be included in a full-set quote
- Consultation, photographs and a 3D scan
- Digital smile design and a wax-up or mock-up you approve before anything is made
- Whitening first, if you want the surrounding teeth lighter (priced separately at Toothi: £250–£350)
- Preparation and temporaries (porcelain)
- The laboratory fee for a UK ceramicist (porcelain)
- Fit, bite adjustment and polish
- A review appointment
- A nightguard to protect the investment
Ask for a single total for the finished smile with all of the above, then compare. A £5,000 quote that excludes the scan, mock-up, temporaries and nightguard is a £5,800 quote.
Full set of veneers in Turkey
Advertised at £2,000–£4,000 for twenty teeth. In most cases what is fitted is not veneers but full crowns, which means grinding every tooth down to a peg; that is the origin of the phrase “Turkey teeth”.
