- ✓ Consultation. A check of your teeth, gums and bite, photos, and a written quote.
- ✓ Shade match. Chosen with you before treatment begins.
- ✓ Treatment. Composite built up, shaped and polished by hand by our principal dentist, who has a special interest in composite bonding.
- ✓ Review appointment. To check your bite and refine the polish once you’ve lived with the new teeth for a bit.
A few things are charged separately, and only if you need or want them: teeth whitening before treatment (Boutique £250 or home trays £350), a hygiene clean (from £70), and treatment for any decay or gum problems found at the check.

What affects the cost of composite veneers?
At Toothi it mostly comes down to how many teeth we treat. Elsewhere in the UK, prices also vary with the clinic, the dentist’s experience and what’s bundled in.
- ✓ Number of teeth. Most people choose 6 to 10 so the smile looks even when they talk and laugh.
- ✓ Starting condition. Decay, old fillings or gum inflammation must be treated first.
- ✓ Whitening. Composite doesn’t whiten, so many people whiten their natural teeth first and we match to the new shade.
- ✓ Alignment. Crowded or rotated teeth may need straightening first so the veneers stay thin and natural. Invisalign Go Express is £1,495.
- ✓ What a quote includes. When comparing clinics, check whether the review appointment and consultation are part of the price.
Compare
How do composite veneers compare with porcelain and bonding on price?
Composite veneers sit between edge bonding and porcelain veneers. Edge bonding only covers the biting edge or a small area, while a composite veneer covers the whole front surface. Porcelain is made in a lab and typically lasts longer.
| Treatment | Per tooth | 6 teeth | 8 teeth | 10 teeth |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Edge bonding | £195 | £995 | — | — |
| Composite veneers | £295 | £1,595 | £1,995 | £2,395 |
| Porcelain veneers (E.max) | £895 | £5,195 | £6,895 | £8,595 |

Over Time
How long do composite veneers last, and what does upkeep cost?
Composite veneers can last several years with care. We polish them at hygiene visits, and if an edge chips it can usually be repaired chairside rather than replaced.
Over time composite can pick up staining from tea, coffee and red wine and lose some of its shine. Regular hygiene appointments (£70, or £125 with Airflow) help keep them polished. If you grind your teeth, a nightguard (£195) protects the edges. Those are the running costs to plan for.
