If you are looking for Invisalign in Stanmore, the nearest fully private provider is Toothi on Handel Parade in Edgware — roughly ten minutes by car from Stanmore Broadway along the A410, and a short hop on the bus or Jubilee-to-Northern line change. Invisalign treatment at Toothi is planned and delivered personally by Dr Ali El-Kabengi (GDC 270807), a Private Dentistry Awards finalist, and starts from £1,495 (full range £1,495–£2,995 depending on complexity), or from £33.94 a month over 60 months at 12.9% APR, subject to status; 0% APR finance is available over up to 10 months.
What Invisalign can and cannot fix
Invisalign handles crowding, spacing, mild-to-moderate overbite and overjet, crossbite and relapse after childhood braces very well. It is less predictable for severe skeletal discrepancies, large rotations of round-rooted teeth (premolars and canines), and cases where teeth need to be moved bodily through a long distance. If your case falls outside what aligners do reliably, we will tell you at the free consultation rather than take your deposit and hope. Sometimes the honest answer is fixed braces with an orthodontist, and we are happy to say so.
Why Stanmore patients travel to us for Invisalign
Invisalign is not a product you buy — it is a treatment you are guided through. The aligners are only as good as the plan behind them, and the plan is only as good as the dentist writing it. At Toothi the same clinician who scans you, designs your ClinCheck and refines your final result is the one you see at every review. There is no handover to a rotating list of associates, and no remote “aligner subscription” with nobody watching your bite.
Toothi holds a 4.9-star rating across 130+ Google reviews, and because we open seven days a week — including Sundays — Stanmore patients who work in central London can fit their four-to-six-weekly reviews around a weekend rather than losing a morning’s work. Most reviews take fifteen minutes.
Invisalign, bonding and whitening together. Straightening reveals what was hidden. Once teeth are in the right position, worn or chipped edges become more obvious, and many patients finish with composite bonding (£200–£350 per tooth) to rebuild edges, or teeth whitening from £250. Whitening after aligners is efficient — your aligners or retainers double as whitening trays. If you want the whole sequence planned as one journey with one price, see our smile makeover page.
- ✓ Free iTero 3D scan — worth £250, no impressions, no gagging, and a simulation of your finished smile on screen before you commit.

Invisalign in Stanmore FAQs
How much does Invisalign cost in Stanmore?
At Toothi, Invisalign starts from £1,495 for a Minor Correction (mild crowding or relapse), £2,495 for Invisalign Go which suits most cases up to 20 aligners, and £2,995 for the more complex Invisalign Go Plus with retainers included. Every plan includes a free iTero 3D scan worth £250, all your reviews and teeth whitening. There are no hidden extras — the quote you agree is the price you pay.
How long does Invisalign take?
Simple cases — mild crowding or a small relapse — can finish in 4–6 months. Most full cases run 12–18 months. We will give you an expected number of aligners at the ClinCheck stage, before you pay anything.
Is Invisalign right for me?
Invisalign works well for crowding, spacing, mild-to-moderate overbite and overjet, crossbite and relapse after childhood braces. It is less suited to severe skeletal problems or very large tooth movements. Dr El-Kabengi assesses this at your free consultation and iTero scan, and will tell you honestly if aligners are not the best route for your case.
Can I pay monthly for Invisalign?
Yes. We offer 0% interest-free finance over up to 10 months, or low-interest finance up to 60 months (representative 12.9% APR), from £33.94/month. As a representative example, Invisalign Go at £2,495 over 60 months at 12.9% APR (fixed) works out at £56.64 per month. Total amount repayable £3,398.48. Total interest £903.48. Finance provided by Tabeo, subject to status. Cherry Dental Ltd trading as Toothi is a credit broker, not a lender, and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 957242).
How do I get to Toothi from Stanmore?
We are at 1 Handel Parade, Whitchurch Lane, Edgware HA8 6LD. By car it is about ten minutes from Stanmore Broadway via the A410 Honeypot Lane or Whitchurch Lane, with local parking in Edgware town centre. Edgware Station (Northern line) is a five-minute walk from our door, and buses run regularly between Stanmore and Edgware.
Will people notice I am wearing them?
Rarely. The aligners are clear and thin. What people do notice are the small tooth-coloured attachments bonded to some teeth to grip the aligner — they are subtle and removed at the end.
Does Invisalign hurt?
There is pressure and tenderness for a day or two after each new aligner, particularly the first few. It is a dull ache rather than pain, and paracetamol handles it. If a set is genuinely painful, something is not tracking and you should call us.
Can I have Invisalign if I have crowns, veneers or implants?
Usually yes, with planning. Attachments do not bond reliably to porcelain, so we work around restored teeth. Implants do not move — they are anchored in bone — so the plan has to move the other teeth around them. Bring this up at the consultation.
Do I have to be a registered patient at Toothi to have Invisalign?
No. Many Stanmore patients come to us for Invisalign while keeping their regular dentist for check-ups. That said, we do need to know your teeth and gums are healthy before we start moving them, so an examination and, if needed, hygiene treatment come first.
Is Invisalign worth it compared with cheaper mail-order aligners?
Mail-order aligners have no dentist examining your gums, your bite or your bone level, and no one to intervene when a tooth stops tracking. Moving teeth is a clinical procedure with real risks — root resorption, bite problems, gum recession. That supervision is what you are paying for.
