Invisalign in London costs anywhere from £995 to over £6,000 — for what is often the same aligner system, made in the same Align Technology lab. The difference is the clinic’s overheads, the complexity tier you need, and what’s bundled in. We’ve compared published prices from real London providers so you can see the whole market in one place. (We’re a dental clinic in Edgware — yes, we appear in the table, and we’ve kept the comparison honest. Prices checked 10 August 2026.)

Prices are each clinic’s own published “from” prices at the date shown; your quote depends on your case complexity. NHS does not cover Invisalign — it’s private treatment everywhere.

Why does the same treatment cost £995 at one clinic and £6,000 at another?

Four honest reasons:

  1. Complexity tier. The lowest advertised prices (£995–£1,499 across the market) are for minor movement only — a handful of aligners correcting mild crowding or relapse. Moderate crowding is a mid-tier case (£1,995–£2,495). Complex bite correction is comprehensive treatment — £2,995 with us, £3,500–£6,000+ in central London.
  2. Postcode overheads. A Wimpole Street or Harley Street address adds thousands to every case. An Edgware clinic on the Northern line doesn’t — same aligners, same iTero scanner, same Align lab.
  3. What’s bundled. Always ask: is the scan free? Are refinement aligners included if teeth need extra movement? Is whitening included? Are retainers included? A “cheap” headline price with £500 of extras isn’t cheap.
  4. Who plans your case. Some low-cost models are remote-only with minimal dentist contact. At a clinic, your case is planned and supervised by a named dentist — at Toothi that’s our principal dentist, Dr Ali El-Kabengi (GDC 270807), at every visit.

Is cheap Invisalign safe?

Invisalign itself is the same medical device wherever you buy it — what varies is the diagnosis, planning and supervision. Cheap is safe when a GDC-registered dentist examines you in person, takes X-rays where needed, plans your ClinCheck, and sees you through refinements and retention. Be cautious with any provider that skips the in-person examination, quotes you without seeing your teeth, or has no plan for refinements if the first set of aligners doesn’t finish the job. Price isn’t the risk factor — skipping clinical steps is.

The whole-cost checklist — questions to ask any clinic

Before you compare quotes, get each clinic to confirm in writing: the consultation and scan cost, which tier your case actually needs, whether refinements are included, whitening included or extra, retainer cost, review appointment costs, and the total with finance. Two “£1,995” quotes can differ by £700 once extras land.

Paying monthly

Most London clinics offer finance. At Toothi, 0% interest-free finance is available over up to 10 months; longer terms up to 60 months carry low-interest finance (representative 12.9% APR fixed). Over 60 months that works out at roughly £34/month for a £1,495 case, £57/month for £2,495 or £68/month for £2,995. Representative example: £2,495 over 60 months at 12.9% APR = £56.64/month, total repayable £3,398.48. Cherry Dental Ltd (FRN 957242) is a credit broker; credit is provided by Tabeo. You can check your options in 2 minutes with a soft search that doesn’t affect your credit score.

Invisalign cost FAQs

How much does Invisalign cost in London in 2026?

Published London prices range from £995 for Express cases to £6,000+ for complex treatment at premium central-London clinics. Most people need mid-tier treatment, which typically costs £1,995–£3,000 in London.

How much would 6 months of Invisalign cost?

A course lasting around 6 months is usually a mild-to-moderate case — £1,495–£2,495 at value-focused clinics (including Toothi) and £2,500–£4,000 in central London.

Is Invisalign covered by the NHS?

No. The NHS only funds fixed braces for under-18s who meet clinical thresholds. All adult Invisalign in the UK is private.

Is it cheaper to get Invisalign outside central London?

Usually, yes — often £1,000–£2,000 cheaper for the same tier. Clinics outside Zone 1 (like Edgware, two minutes from Edgware Station on the Northern line) carry lower overheads and pass that on.
